Production Delay Notice

Covid-19 has caused unprecedented supply chain interruptions impacting businesses worldwide. The display industry has not been spared from these adverse conditions. As the supply chain begins to normalize we ask our customers for patience. We will do whatever it takes to provide our customers quality printing, on time, and on budget.

Until further notice TradeShowPlus will not be accepting rush orders.

Posted production times on our product pages are now suspended.

Please place your order well in advance of your event date.

Production Time

Educating the customer about the production process is important. All of our displays are custom manufactured. Whether an off-the-shelf display with custom printed graphics or a fully engineered and custom built trade show solution, there are common production steps that must be adhered to. Please familiarize yourself the manufacturing basics and give us a call with any questions.

Production Timeline

Basic Production Timeline

Above is our basic order timeline that covers the vast majority of our product line. Product production times are located on each product page on our website. The actual physical production of an order is just a small part of the overall manufacturing process. Much of the production timeline is dependant on the customer. This includes using our graphic templates, placing the order, uploading artwork and approving art proofs. It is not until after art proofs have been approved that the physical production process begins.

It is important for the customer to immediately inspects their order upon delivery. We suggest the customer perform a test assembly before their event to familiarize themselves with the assembly process.

Plan Ahead

We advise customers purchase custom displays 45 days before their event date. We suggest customers receive their display and carry out a full inspection to include assembly prior to shipping it to their event. Having experience with a display helps make the entire event experience less stressful.

It is highly advised customers use an experienced graphic artist knowledgeable about large format digital printing. Inexperienced graphic artists may not know the limitations of large format graphics.

One of the easiest ways to make sure orders are produced on time is to use our graphic templates and follow our artwork guidelines. Our graphic requirements are a bit different than other types of printing. Following our guidelines will ensure proper graphics and on time delivery.

At TradeShowPlus we understand it is not a perfect world. We will do whatever it takes, within our ability, to get our customers order where it need to be, on time and within budget!

Time Critical Orders

Customers with critical in-hand dates should indicate the delivery date when placing their order. If additional charges are required to meet the customers delivery date, customer service will notify the customer prior to making any changes to their order. No order changes will be made without the express written permission of the customer.

Electronic Proofs

Once an order is placed and artwork uploaded, the customer will receive an email proof within 24 business hours. Production time starts the next business day after proof approval. All custom graphic orders will receive proofs that must be approved prior to production.

Electronic proofs are designed for the customer to verify graphic placement and check for spelling mistakes. TradeShowPlus does not spell check art files. Electronic proofs cannot be used to judge color output, resolution, or the printing of special graphic effects. To properly approve color, resolution, and printing of special effects the customer must order printed hard proofs.

Hard Proofs

Hard proofs are physical prints of the customers art files using the same press and print material as the final product. A set of hard proofs generally includes a miniature print of the graphic file and a full-size print of a 11x17 section of the art file that the customer may want to see at full size. Hard proof cost is $100.00 per proof set, per art file. Hard proof cost includes overnight shipping to the customer for review. Cost will be higher for international orders and for special hard proof requests.

While ordering hard proofs does add to product cost and production time, it is the only way to ensure that color and output of special effects will be acceptable to the customer. Customers who decide not to order hard proofs, for any reason, will not be able to return or have graphics reprinted due to print issues that hard proofs would have revealed.
